I started in the commercial film world as a set dresser. I schlepped around the city in a cube truck picking up every. single. item. you. could. imagine… couches, lamps, kitchen sinks, bedding, toys, art (large and fragile!), washing machines that I was told to carry up a few flights of stairs… I worked so hard edging on 16 hour days on average, until I finally worked my way up to becoming a props buyer.

Being a props buyer was so dynamic!

In this role I did everything from conceptualization, to picking props, placing them on set or in whatever room we were filming in. I already had an eye for this but having this as my job really trained me and my eye to “dress to camera” or- how things “read” or look in real life vs on camera.

I translated these skills to doing creative shoots on my own. And now I offer packages where I will act as your props buyer / stylist and give you the quality of a buyer paid $1000 /day for the price of the package you chose :)
